Greetings from the Yukon and the Alaskan Highway! Despite extended periods of cold and rain, we are enjoying the adventure and expect to be in Fairbanks sometime later this week . . .
In the meantime, here is a video we recorded in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. We discuss grizzly encounters, foam-green water, and a few major milestones. It includes Julie's report on how "we" are enjoying the camping more, thanks in part to Mike Biershenk's poetic advice.

Loved the photos, loved the stories, love the smiles on your faces, love the laughter, LOVED the bug!!!!! but mostly, love that you are STILL TOGETHER!!!!!!! Thx for the update. Miss you guys. Love you bunches.
ReplyDeleteFantastic clip. I loved the French culinary vocab lesson.
ReplyDeleteYou have completely fulfilled my need for mountain vistas. Thank you for that. (Love the rear view mirror pan, too, by the way - awesome inserts).
ReplyDeleteWe unintentionally attracted a hungry farm kitten once with tuna breath and some Bugles. She echo-located us, climbed between the rain fly and the tent (giving us her little belly shot from above in the flashlight) and then made it to the zipper and started trying to claw her way in, so we took her along for the rest of the journey...) Watch out for those garlic-smelly fingers, J. You never know, man...
Well after that long segment, how can I admit that I meant it totally literally?! But nevertheless, I'm glad you're learning to dip your toes into cool streams, be they metaphorical or literal :) My love to you both...
